Yes it does. Look up what Alternate frame rendering is. Microshutter should be better (not as noticeable) on the 4870x2 because of improved GPU intercommunication.

That feature was not enabled on the X2. It was in the pre press release that there was an improved communication chip. It did not make it into production.

Im not talking about Sideport. Im talking about the newer more effiecent bridge chip.
How? Alternate frame rendering nature causes microshutter. But at the same time most people won't notice it. However saying it doesn't exist is simply not true.

I assume you have read the same 20 or so reviews floating around the web that everyone else has. given that, perhaps you could provide a link to 1 or 2 that indicated that micro stutter still occurs. For the life of me I can't recall mention of it anywhere.

You don't need a review saying that there is microshutter. The algorithm they use, AFR naturally introduces Microshuttering.
However heres proof.

The article IMO takes microshuttering and blows it out of proportion. Microshuttering is happening but its not as bad as the 3870x2 or 9800GX2. However saying it doesn't exist is simply not true.

Fair enough. Lets say then for the sake of clarity, its presence is so minimal as to not be detectable to the human eye regardless of the frame rates involved.
