Yes it does. Look up what Alternate frame rendering is. Microshutter should be better (not as noticeable) on the 4870x2 because of improved GPU intercommunication.

That feature was not enabled on the X2. It was in the pre press release that there was an improved communication chip. It did not make it into production.

I assume you have read the same 20 or so reviews floating around the web that everyone else has. given that, perhaps you could provide a link to 1 or 2 that indicated that micro stutter still occurs. For the life of me I can't recall mention of it anywhere.
