modded my bios using RBE and then flashed it with winflash.using RBE's latest version,it gives an option of using the ASUS's 4850 overdrive signature which boosts the overdrive to 800/1300.you can change the volts as well so if your stock bios doesn't have the max volts possible, change that too.almost all cards should be able to hit around 720 better ones can go to 760 only on bios mod.

The problem with 4850 is that heat will not let it OC that well. I was able to do 700Mhz on stock volts [1.12] and after i modded to [1.153] i could not even do more then 700Mhz. I had to give it [1.3] to get 775Mhz on core but given that i am stock cooling i need more voltage to get higher OC. With [1.3] i can do 850Mhz but not for long because the card goes over 100% and starts to slow down and artifacts so when i get better cooling i will OC more.

I have one of these cards and have been very happy with it in terms of performance, and low noise & temps. I've done a fair bit of experimentation and posted some results on Whirlpool (Aus broadband/tech forum, user socrates09)... including under-clocking for low power, and overclocking of course!

Using ATI Tray Tools to under/over clock automatically, without needing to change BIOS. Low-power 2D desktop (200/500 core/mem), auto switching to fast 3D for games (stock 650/1000 up to 700/1150).
