Company of heroes, fog of war bug
Well I have installed the first version of the game (not expansion), and decided to give it a try on my new comp. I was gaming, all on max, when suddenly my friend noticed funny FoW look. It wasn`t smooth anymore, and looked blocky. I tried with settings in CCC (Catalyst v8.8), and reducing and increasing quality in-game, but it didn`t helped...
 At first it is OK, but sometime later, maybe when units apper or I don`t know, it starts to appear blocky. I also noticed that when alt+tab to windows, and returned, it was smooth again for some time. Other than this the graphics are awesome, objects, units, trees... It looks like this:  Is it the Catalyst v8.8? Should I patch the game? I really don`t like this with my new card. Many guys appear to have the same problem with x1900xt, interesting discussion here: http://www.rage3d.com/Board/showthread.php?t=33875785 they are saying that it is cause the game is nVidia based, and the patch 1.5 might help...

You should patch to the latest version. My version doesn't have that and I'm 100% maxed out with all patches installed. Then again, I have an nVidia card, but my brother has an ATI x1650 card and it yields the same problem you have, but his game isn't maxed out, only on medium settings.

All on max, ultra and High...
I saw that if I turn off shadows it helps a bit, not so blocky that ways... Maybe bug so that card can`t render shadows from units and fog of war in the same time... Last patch is 1.7 right? can I use it under XP SP3, cause I saw there were some DX10 features?
