Default CCC Alternative For Vista X64???

I just installed my 4870 1GB card and after I installed the drivers it would BSOD on every boot. So I after some trial and error I ended up removing the drivers (I treid 8.7, 8.8 and 8.9) in safe mode, and then removing CCC and just installing the driver only, if I install CCC the computer will get a BSOD.

So I need a alternative for CCC to mess with AA and AF options. I was very interested in the AA options for the 4870.

I think ATI Tray Tools works. But you must download ready driver plus.

My word - what a mess the driver situation is with ati...

Thats not proper support yano guys..

I'd be seriously dissapointed if I had to mess around with third party stuff just to get to my driver settings.

Mind you there isnt alot of 64bit support anywhere for anything tbh.

That's just complete rubbish. I have built at least 20 different systems that have run vista 64 on them and have never found a piece of hardware that isn't supported.

I do not have SP1 installed, I tried ATi Traytools w/ and w/o Ready Driver and it wouldn't work. I also tried disable the digital driver bull**** and I still couldn't get it to work. i jsut keep getting the Vista Digital Driver message.

Not true! I found an old comm port ISA card in my closet, would not fit in my motherboard which had a hard drive connected to it that was running Ultimate 64, Vista sucks!

But yeah, Ultimate 64 is pretty much just that, Ultimate. If they had waiting a few months they would have named it Epic 64.

lol
