You said you wanted to go for crossfire?
You may have an issue with the accelero then
I believe one of the heatpipes blocks one of the crossfire bridges. You can take the dremel to the heatsink fins though (NOT the heatpipe).

the crossfire bridge is flexible and will bend around stuff.

besides, i can just get a different cooler for the other one and put it in the appropriate pci-e slot.

Just place the one RAMsink on last (after heatsink installation) so that it doesn't interfere with the heatpipe.

how does it block the crossfire bridge though?, the crossfire bridges are flexible, unlike SLI bridges.
