Alright, so I'll stick with my original plan of the XSPC razor

thanks CD and Syr, this thread has been helpful!

I am inclined to echo CD's words.

Don't get me wrong: The cards on their own (non-CFX) and the blocks cooling performance (once functioning) was phenomenal.

As a sidenote, have you taken a look at the Danger Den block?

I've looked at all three, my top choice was the EK copper acrylic just because I loved how it looked, then i heard about the shorting problems. Then, between the DD and the XSPC, I couldn't see much difference so I decided on the XSPC just because it was cheaper of the two. I really dont prefer one over the other, I'm mostly looking for the best performance with the least hassle.

Please note that I agree with a great deal of hesitation as I have found EK products to be of the highest quality with performance to match... but with this block the story takes a sad turn.

Were it only me I would dismiss it as "user error", but this is a documented issue from experienced liquid-heads.

Please do.

I am gratified that you feel you have received support from this forum....

I came here with a Dell and the good Folk of OCN got me up and running, answers are always there, support is perennial and, the general air of common-respect is abundant.
