Device Manager recognises only 1 card (2 GPU's)

Sadly, it does not.

Additionally there is that "ticking" noise. The card did not do that before (or perhaps the rear HS panel muffled the sound... but I doubt it).

Are you trying these options with the blocks on or stock cooling?
I would suggest you put the stock cooler back on the troubled card and go from there.

Sound advice. Thank you.

I'm kinda burnt at the moment, so I will do as you suggest this afternoon.

Okay, I did as Litlratt suggested.

And the darn card works.

Thanks for all the comments and assistance. It seems that the Block is not aligning properly or something.... "something" meaning, "user error". lol.

I will try to fit the EK one more time, if that doesn't work I have a Danger Den block I could throw on there. If that works, then I will have to decide if I want to split up the twins.

Just a thought, but I was noting on the instructions for the block that it says something about screws not being too tight. I would bet that it's one of the screws touching something it shouldn't.

Might have been a contact issue of some sort. I know you're not a nub . But it must have been a heat issue or something. Very strange.

I know it's a pita, but I would try swapping the EK blocks on the cards.
This should rule out whether or not one of them (blocks)is bad.

Hey now I have the same problem. Except in my case neither of them is working.

I was aware of the PVC washer update and read the AMD Forum thread and I got nothing.

If anyone has anymore ideas...I would like to make the EK blocks work. I'll work on it again tomorrow and see if I can adjust anything.
