Default 4850 3dmark06

so i ran the 3dmark06 at 1360x768 and with a score of 12456. this score is barely 500pts faster then when i had my 9600gt. my 9600gt was oced to 750core 1900shader and 2200mem. my 4850 is 700 core clock 2200mem clock. the 4850 has ALOT more stuff on the board; 800 stream processors (which i know dont run as fast as nvidias. and newer arcitecture. im sure u guys know how BEEFY the 9600 is...not very. so if someone here knows why it doesnt score at least 13500. look in my profile for the specs. but my cpu core was 3.3ghz cuz at 3.4 i need to up the vcore and it gets too hot.

That test should be stock ran at 1280x1024.

Also did you reformat or use Drivercleaner Pro before installing the ATI card?

4850 give low points in 3dmark06....

Try in vantage and you will see a difference

Agreed. And running 3Dmark06 in high resolution and high AA, you will see the benefit.
