Length of time to flash video card bios
Diamond support sent me a bios to flash to my video cards since I'm having issues, and I started flashing one about ten minutes ago. I'm doing them one at a time. I've only gotten to doing the first one, and it's the progress bar is going across all the way, resetting and going all the way. It's been doing this for a good ten minutes. Should I just wait or does it take this long? I have a gut feeling that the flash isn't working but need input.

usually takes under 10 seconds for me.

They provided the tool to flash. it's called ATIWinFlash, and it runs by command prompt.
I still have the other card with the original bios unaltered. how do I pull the bios from that one and then put it back on this one?

use atitool to backup the cards bios

never flash in windows no matter who tells you it is ok

okay then, what utility do I need to perform the flash then from outside windows?
I can't get ATItool to work in vista64. the kernel driver won't load no matter what I do. I also am not using xp anymore. gotta fix my sig.
