Is that an optical illusion or is the PCB bowed on that.

The card is bowed like that. My card is bowed because of the duorb cooler. There's no backplate on the duorb so the stress bends the card.

I just o/c'd my e6750 from 2.66 to 3.8 (didn't get to 4 due to cheap RAM imo) thanks to the ZN120 I had purchased with the 4850 (vcore +1.5 - 71°C each core under Prime95 ... too high vcore most probably, didn't get the time to lower it precisely so far).

And so here comes my question, how can i burn this graphics board ?. Where's the real overclocking fun here ? where's the voltage button ?

I only used CCC so far and the only thing that did provide a decent testing was GTASA or 3dmark06, both of which nicely crashed at clock speeds of 700/1050 which is much less than i expected to achieve ...
You know... I had a similar problem with my card when I first installed it. I would use CCC to overclock but it crashed when I used a game.
A few weeks ago I reinstalled windows and tried again and it worked wonders.
Also, everytime yo set the clocks be sure to use the TEST button to check its' stable. I found lower clocks to be even less reliable than the CCC for some reason. Hope it helps

I got the same card as you , i was hopping at least for 750mhz but anything above 700 wont work so i am running now at 695 and the memory was a bit better and so far 1150 is quiet stable.

1) TO burn the graphic card try to use ATItool artifact scanning or Ozone3D furMark stability test both will heat the card , both will heat the card a bit , mien will go up to 62c in a moderately ventilated case , if you want to go insane try the be OCCT that took my 4850 to 92C , yes 30c more than anything else (But i don't recommend it )

2)The real fun is watching your 3D mark score goes higher without buying any more $$$

3)The Voltage button is only available through voltage mods , either soldering or pencil but from my point of view it is not worth it .

You can increase Voltage with a BIOS flash. Which is relatively risk free, as the flash can be undone...If you have a spare PCI VGA card. Still, I see no point, I'm happy with the performance I have. You can also increase the voltage with ATI Tray Tools -
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/V...ay-Tools.shtml
But you will need XP or vista x86 - won't work too nicely on x64 due to driver signing. Still, it won't give you much voltage increase...just a bit.

I read somewhere in this forum that voltage increases were'nt very realiable (if possible) through a bios mod. I agree with you that the risk might not be worth the benefit in the end.
