i always thought Crysis was a bad game to do first benchmarking on, because the drivers always seem to fail on it at first.

But I do agree, it's premature drivers, that's why I don't like these reviews as they don't show the true performance of the card. For example, I got Warhead when the 4870x2 was still using new drivers. Performance in the game was terrible (enthusiast and no AA = 30fps average). I reinstalled the game recently and started playing it now that the drivers are a lot better and wow, huge performance gain (enthusiast and 4xAA = 30fps average). So please, don't base anything off of these reviews as the drivers are still premature, thanks.

Too an extent, the 2GB GDDR5 really does help at higher resolutions, no doubt.

Why is this hard to believe?
DX10 Crysis my 4870 performed better than my GTX260, DX9 was a different story.

This is one of the only tests I've seen that the 4870x2 beats the GTX295 in. Funny part is, this card is a dual 260, not a dual 280. Imagine the pwnage with a dual 280...
Yes I know it would be way hot and use a ton of power, but who cares? My power bill wouldn't go up at all. I also know that it's a 260 with the shaders of a 280. I read all about it, so I don't need correcting...

is the 295 the dual-GPU card or the single?
Anyway, this is obviously too soon to say it, but either way, the drivers need a little bit of maturing.
