I'm not believing ANYTHING until someone on OCN does a review of the card.

I really don't trust any of the hardware review sites.

I honestly don't get all the drama. This is good for everyone. It's good to have two highly competitive cards on the market, it forces both ATI and NVidia to work their butts off with drivers to get the edge on the other, and prices should be better. Al you guys with 4870X2 cards might be tempted to get another if the prices come down.
NVidia guys MUST surely love the fact that ATI's success is the only thing that will keep the GTX295 at all affordable?

As it's been said before, this is the ONLY graph that shows it winning.

The 295 wins in every test at any resolution that isn't 2560, and probably wins a few at that resolution as well.

It is the better card, period. We'll have to wait a few months for the 5870x2 to beat it.

And Crysis at 2560 isn't a reflection of usual games now is it?

Is there many gamers play games at 2560x1920?

The 4870 is close to GTX 280

Forget about the side port?

ATI will be releasing a driver to enable the side port.

the side port is a 5gb/s interconnect between the gpus on a 4870x2

this will increase performance by 10 - 12%
