Default Dual 3870s or a 4850?

Which would be better for the money? Dual 3870's or a single 4850? I already have 1 3870.

If you can get a 3870 for $65 or less then go for it.

Otherwise, the 4850 is a very nice card.

Personally I would look into a nice dual core or possibly a phenom 9850 for the cost of a 4850.

Probably a 4850. There pretty cheap at the moment and there's always the option of grabbing another one later down the road when they will be even cheaper. Check out this review of 4850 cards crossfired, performs extremely well for the money:

If you already have one and a crossfire mobo I would get another one. 2 x 3870's would be a solid setup.

3870's. Since you already have one. 2 3870's are about the same performance as 1 4850. So save abit of cash and get another 3870

The 3870's outperform a single 4850 so definitely go for the crossfire.

Get the 4850. Because if your two 3870's are about as good what will happen when the 4850 becomes a bit outdated? You have to upgrade to a much more expensive card. if you get the 4850 and when it becomes outdated you can crossfire
