Default AA or Resolution

Ok, I've done some research on the web but it seems everybody gives generic answers...

I have a ATI 4670 (budget DX10) and like to play games like Crysis.
So my question is: where will I get the best picture / playable framerate
1: 1680x1050 no AA/AF
2: lower resolution with some AA/AF
other combination...

honestly I think crysis looks pretty good without AA.

other games thought If your frame rate can afford to turn it on, do it.

but resolution first.

Resolution. Always play at your screen's native resolution for the best experience.

1680x1050 0xAA
might be doable at high but u may have to lower a few things to medium.

Ok, so the followup is -
Better at native resolution on low settings to get playable framerate or lower resolution with medium/high settings?

I play all games on 1440X900 instead of 1680X1050 , I don't see any difference in image qualities , but I get better framerates and better playing experience . some 21inch monitors use 1440X900 , I think moving from 21 to 22 doesn't need 1680X1050 . I always try to max-out in-game settings , then after playing for 1-2 hours , if the framerate was great , I try to add some AA

I prefer resolution over quality settings on crysis.

resolution for sure. AA isn't that noticeable on crysis. or at least, not worth the framerate hit IMO.
