thats what i thought and bought it on newegg open box.No,RBE shows 1.158 max ,and so does Ati tray tool.Plus like i said original bios wont let me overclock memory much.
Also does anybody knows what is a optimal PCI-e frequency for 4830?

I read somewhere that the optimal frequency would be 110, i myself am trying 105. Seems stable for now. Btw will flashing a bios with a different checksum onto the 4830 cause any problems? My brother's 4830 bios has a different checksum. Wierd that both cards are from Sapphire too.

Not bad at all, what cooler are you planning on getting? I can't seem to find a neat 4800 series cooler anywhere. I'm doing a pencil mod eventually too, but my temps are quite high already, then again so are my MHz's.

Nice Clocks for 1.35V, sorry i ve been busy the past days and have alot work to do. Will try to get some time this weekend to push the card to 1000 MHz .

@save

Get a Accelero S1, this cooler is just damn sweet.

The one Boschwanza used (CoolerMaster Accelero S1 rev 2) ain't so bad and cheap too so it suits the 4830s just fine if there's a cooler to get for these cards, that's it.

to Boschwanza:

that's ok, I am just curious on whether or not these cards can do the 1000mhz like some of the 8600gt's did since they are both mad overclockers. I reckon the 4830s can
