I think us 4830 owners should take off our fans and see if any of ours have the "D1" as shown in the pictures. If so then its time to experiment with bios flashing.. iam going to check mine myself tomorrow when the PC isn't doing anything.

So the difference is bios then? I dont get what you can do if you have a D1 at the end.

@PCpwns Dies with "D1" should have the remaining 2 SIMDs (160SPs) still on the chip and a bios flash should enable them.
