![]() But i'm so disappointed, my asus no more overclocks.... ![]() with old 24/7 clocks 675/1150 it freezes in 3dm06 almost immediately.... And i think those temp sensors are ****ed up, cause idle is 90-100c and load 161c. But when i touch that card, it is like 60c... And everything happened when i took that twinturbo off and putted new ocz thermal paste there... After that my memory and shader temps have been insane. Core is still ok.... Nowadays i'm running stupid default clocks..

A little question, should i buy an other Asus 4830 on CF or cheapest, (sapphire), cause asus is only? one of these cards with 2000mhz stock memory and if i buy sapphire it is 1800mhz, so will sapphire overclock enough to maintain same ~2000mhz memory clock in both cards? And is sapphires stock cooler quiet/powerful enough? (i think i should run sapphire with stock cooling and asus with accelero, cause mem temps are what they are...
and asus's stock heatsink is ...****.)

hi all just a random question i dont know if anyone knows the answer.well here it is what clock speed would the 4830 need to be overclocked too,to match the 4850 performance.

![]() 625/1000mhz same clock as a 4850. but since 4850 has more sp making it 5% faster clocking for clock, setting the clock speed to 650mhz will give you the same performance

it's mightl an unstable oc, nevertheless. or maybe something was running in the background at the time. the best way to compare is having to restart after a run, before proceeding on the next run.
