Hm.. I don't think the core was the problem.. my card may of just been running too hot.. so I'm increasing my fan speed and going to try 780 again, see if I can get through a full GPU benchmark of Crysis. No such luck.

Tools used to BIOS flash:
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/Utilities/RBE/
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads...h_2.0.1.2.html (apparently 2.0.1.5 causes issues in 4830 cards)

Tips: Do NOT leave programs running in the background while flashing!!

Well atm I only have a 19" monitor, so I'm assuming the highest I could set 3dmark would be 1440x900, am I correct in thinking that?

Technically the monitor's physical size doesn't limit the maximum number of pixels.. or, at least not *too* much. (1680X1050 19inch LCD monitors exist)

The real limiting factor is "will people buy it" :P

Sorry, let me word that better...

My monitors max res is 1440x900, so I'm assuming I can't run a 3dmark loop at a res higher then that. Correct?
