Default Amps on HD 3870

Well i think im going to buy another HD 3870 because i have like a impulse for two video cards.... how many amps does this card need because im just gona hook up a 300watt psu to power this card if my one cant do it by its self?

Any help will be much <3'd

ugh don't go CF, especially on that low resolution/small monitor you got.
better off going buying a new monitor and then get a HD 4870.

20A for a single card should be fine i think.

One 3870 is overkill for that kind of monitor so two would be absolutely useless.

Im buying a bigger moniter very soon... as my monter is almost broken, also HD 4870's cost about 4 times as much as a HD 3870 so yea there is no point it would be cheaper for me to buy 4 HD 3870's that buy like a HD 4870 almost.

Its not a overkill, it becomes a overkill when you play the game with no AA/AF

520 watt should be enough for 3870 CF. I have 4 8800GS's running on 500 watts so you'll be more than fine. Enjoy!
