Sly, just had a fiddle in riva this morning, climbed back up from stock to 860/1100 with no problems temp was 32*C idle (the room is 20*C) and hit 49*C under load (Far Cry 2 DX10 low settings), didn't want to push too hard though.

You card still has more to offer, your cooler is a lot bigger than mine

Yeah, I could try it again, I kept getting artifacts in atitool, wasn't sure which it was - memory or core - it was the lines, not the big yellow blocks ... I'll try raising the core and check.

I usually blame the memory for arties, remember little cards have cheap chips.

I cant get past 800/965 on my card [Sapphire 1GB GDDR3] It's annoying, I wish they sold the ICE-Q version here. If I clock any higher games wont run, Sandra will bench it though. Max speed I've reached is 835/1060. But that's way past playable on this. Using 9.10 drivers.

I used the ATI overdrive tool the other day and the autotune tool set my core to 840 and my mem to 900 and i haven't had any problems yet. Overdrive wont let it go much higher but I may try using another tool later to see if I can push it a little higher.

idle - 38'C
load - 62'C

There's no heatsinks on the memory on the back. But I have a fan running cold air right beside it.
