Default 4830 Crossfire Question

Would 2 4830's in crossfire in 8X 8X be better than a single 4850?

the cards would be bottlenecked i think but your best getting 1 4870 card in a pci-e 16x slot. the 4830 are not that fast so they might not be bottlenecked come to think of it. with a second one in crossfire, your performance will be doubled. i think it might do ok but am not sure.

Are the PCI-E x8 lanes 2.0? If so they are equivalent to a PCI-E x16 1.0 lanes.

And in most cases they will beat the 4870.

I've read a few reviews on these as well and they perform awesome in crossfire. I would definitely recommend this setup especially in games that crossfire scales well in .
