It's hard to say, exactly. Maybe someone with a similar system can give you the info from experience.

In the meantime, take a look at this HD4830 review from Guru3D. Keep in mind, an E8400 @ 3.0GHz was used in the benchmarks. Your Athlon X2 will obviously not be quite as fast, but it may at least give you a general idea. Note the Crysis v1.2 test was run with medium image quality settings and no Anti-aliasing.

The catch is it has to be for $100.

I want a:

Nvidia Geforce 9800GT

or

ATI Radeon 3870

I have heard that they are about the same. Personally, ima nvidia fan but
then again ive only used 1 ati card (ATI Rage card lol) Im open to suggestions but i really want the best graphics card for $100.

P.S.!!!!
I have a Nvidia Geforce 8600GT 1GB card right now.
Maybe a ATI radeon 4830. They overclock better than the 9800 GT does.

Oh...everyone else beat me to it...-_-

I can run fallout 3 on the highest settings at 1440x900 on my HD4830 without any problems whatsoever. Not overclocked either... yet.

I can vouch for it
