Then try software like EVEREST or PC Wizard to check if temps show there. If not then the sensor might be busted o.o

im also getting the new hardware wizard after every restart. i should probably try reinstalling the drivers.

im getting graphical problems out of game also, when I hit the arrow to extend the tray icons it does it really slowly. Also when typing it slows down and speeds up.

Once you install the cat 9.2's new hardware wizard should not pop-up again. Sounds to me like some driver installation issue. I don't think any sensor or something else is broken. Many people that goes ati from an nvidia card having such issues and sometimes even end up with re-format to make everything work right.

As far as I know with ATI cards you can not see temps and fan speed when you mouse over the tray icon. You have to open CCC and look under the ATI Overdrive tab.

I have just realized that you have Windows XP 32bit OS. Are you sure that you are installing the right cat 9.2's for XP 32bit ?

If new hardware wizard is still poping up I would say open it. Click next and let it do, let it install/ what it wants to do or install and then see what happens. XP 32bit is an old OS. But this card is relatively new. I highly suspect that you are having this issue because of XP 32bit. Be sure to install all the latest updates for your OS via Windows update. If none of these work do you have a chance to give it a try with Vista ?
