I changed my 8800GS with 4850 like 20 times and never had problems.

well, the hardware wizard wont stop popping up and for some reason whenever I drag a window or mouse over my object dock it goes very slowly then speeds up. Things like that but constantly when going through files and alt tabbing. Its hard to explain, but it's just too annoying to get used to. I know it isnt the card, its just the drivers are making me go nuts.

the hardware wizard comes up due to the hdmi audio component on these cards,installing the drivers for that would stop that or merely disabling it from device manager will do.
