Exclamation ATI HD4850 instability issue !!!

I've observed some instant lags on my Sapphire 4850 . I think that catalyst crashes and recovers . I'm using version 9.2 . Anyone of you experiencing the same problem ?

your using an AM2 processor and an NVIDIA chipset thats why..i never had hickups on mine..either what driver version i use..ATI best works with an AMD/ATI chipset..and 1 more thing th 4800 series is catered to the use of phenom architecture chips..

I have no performance issues, but CCC will not install, no matter what I do it will just not install, I have spent 5 days trying to get it to install, and I fear nothing short of an OS reload will fix it.

its because of your Chipset..as i said CCC is a software that communicates with the card through and AMD/ATI chipset..since his chip is NVIDIA where's the WAY that CCC will communicate to the card?? do you get my point??..

regarding your issue what version your using??i recommend the one that came with the card or your Board..

Sorry, but I have not laughed that hard in a while

That statement is 100% false, and has nothing to do with the issue.
1. chipset is ATI
2. chipset has nothing to do with CCC or your video card

Its a software OS issue, it has nothing to do with hardware what so ever.
