I've observed some instant lags on my Sapphire 4850 . I think that catalyst crashes and recovers . I'm using version 9.2 . Anyone of you experiencing the same problem ?

your using an AM2 processor and an NVIDIA chipset thats why..i never had hickups on mine..either what driver version i use..ATI best works with an AMD/ATI chipset..and 1 more thing th 4800 series is catered to the use of phenom architecture chips..

I have no performance issues, but CCC will not install, no matter what I do it will just not install, I have spent 5 days trying to get it to install, and I fear nothing short of an OS reload will fix it.

![]() That statement is 100% false, and has nothing to do with the issue. 1. chipset is ATI 2. chipset has nothing to do with CCC or your video card Its a software OS issue, it has nothing to do with hardware what so ever.
