) The 4890 is nice but gives no real increase when compared to 4870CF, except in non CF friendly games such as Crysis WH.But for the most part at the same time I have noticed my lowest fps not quite as low. On avg. about a 3fps bump. If you have a 4870X2 or any 4870CF setup you better get 2 4890's or your not going to be all that enthralled by them. Got my second one coming next week.

Currently I have 2 Hd4850s and am pretty satisfied, but Im looking to push my system to the extreme component wise
I saw these 4890s coming out and I didnt think much of it because I was expecting ATI to release a 5000 series soon (Any news on that?) I was reading this thread and it really gave me the itch to get a pair of these in my i7 build Question is how much improvement would i see? Should I wait for the 5000 series, or is that a while off?

No Prob.
I can't wait till tonight. I am headed out to the garage to benchmark, should be a comfortable temp to play in. Local forcast http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/camb0243 Quote:
at 4.4ghz with dual 4890's I hit 28014 (so Far) as for performance gain over the 5000 I can't comment on that because I have not seen any specs. IMO the are a rockin card.
