Sweet, so one of these should outperform my 4850s/cf@750/1150,730/1200?
Or would the 4850's win?

I would think that 2x4805s would perform better on your resolution, but I'm not entirely sure.

Just ordered my Asus EAH4890 with a voltage adjuster...only ten bucks more than the regular ones...can't wait to test this out!!!

Tried out COD WAW. Funny about the temps. The cards idle in mid 50's (not great but still way better than my 4870's ever did). But load is only mid 60's tops (top card is around 64, bottom card 57 which is normal for crossfire setups).

I haven't bothered to mess with fan profiles yet this is still at stock.

Definite temp improvement over the 4870's (and my cards are factory overclocked to boot).

Regarding COD WAW, 1920x1200 with all options at high, I average 135-150 FPS. What is really nice though is my minimum frames are never less than 95. With the 4870X2, I topped out at about 115 FPS average but my minimum frames sometimes dropped into the 70's.

Definite improvement in performance and I haven't even tried to overclock them yet.

Just got my Sapphire 4890, I am so happy to be rid of the craptastic 9.3's. ATI's drivers have been excellent for me so far and those were just horrific.

Running 9.4b's on FO3, Crysis:WH, and L4D no probs yet.

To any of the reviewers that said these cards are noisy and hot: STOP SMOKING CRACK, IT'S BAD FOR YOU.

Agreed Iandh. When I was running a game I was actually wondering if the fans spooled up (even though temps under load only went up 8 or 9 degrees). They must be spinning up and yet I can't hear them over my other case fans.

yeah these cards are not that loud at all... I musta got a good one. I only idle in the 30's and load is around 45-50. I think I go up to 51 during furmark.
