I can get 3dmark to pass with artifacts showing through the whole test. I can get it to pass at 1Ghz on stock voltage as well. Maybe higher, but thats as far as the cats let me push it.

The version of catalyst that comes with the Toxic lets you go to 1200/1400, but there's no way I could ever do that without some major mojo/money droppage.

my xfx card is making a VERY ANNOYING noise , it goes up when i increase fan speed, and its there at 20% fan speed..


time to rma another card, sigh

just got my HIS 4890 in from zzf today. I was only able to get it to 935 on the core and 1075 on the mem. i get a slight whine when the card is under heavy load.

no, and i confirmed this by running ATI tool which everyone knows makes 4890's cry


if i leave my fan on 20% i can barely hear the noise it makes, but at 35% its like its hitting something, but i know its not (I spun the fan with my fingers)

I think I might just buy a musashi and do the stock plate trick, because my VRMS aren't even cracking 70c with the stock cooler
