Default ATI HD4890 Owners Thread

In the vein of the many threads I have started, time for a new one!

I just picked up a pair of MSI HD4890 OC's.

These are factory overclocked, 880 Core, 999 Memory (3996 quad clocked).

I know there are a couple of members here with the cards (Rustynails and NCSpecV81) so lets see members post their cards and results.

I am also looking at aftermarket cooling for both cards. At this point deciding on the Scythe Musashi or one of the Thermalright models (depending on if I can fit two on my board).

Apparently there have been some issues with enabling crossfire that the 9.4 betas resolve.

Here are the links:

Now thats what I am talking about!

Those are impressive scores with one card.

Can you do a 3dmark06 run single card with your cpu at 4ghz?

I am curious to see what the i7 nets out to compared to my Q9650 at 4ghz with a single card.

As some of you have owned both a 4870x2 and the 4890. How does 1x4890 compare to 4870x2? Which gives greater performance @ 1920x1080?

Cheers guys.
