Yeah I havn't received the I7 920 yet and already traded it for an E8400, P35 + $65.

Does anyone know what 4850 CF will compare to nvidia's single cards?

Last I read about it crossfired 4850's were up there trading blows in certain games with the gtx280. Depends on the game though, and resolution.
