My XFX 4870 1gb landed to today so I've mounted it (inc Crossfire strip) and now after booting up, the monitor is displaying no signal? I don't even get a BIOS screen so I assume it's not the drivers (none installed for the 4870 as yet).
__________________**EDIT** Tried all DVI ports, everything is running but just no signal. I've looked through the forums but I can't find any info. Any help appreciated, + rep. Cheers guys.

Yeah it's booting just nothing on display and I've tried all DVI ports, only when in the correct (Top left) slot do I even get the no signal message; which I find odd.

Plug monitor into other card. The initial boot up signal could be going into the other card. How is your power? Al power cables plugged in. Did you uninstall the drivers first? Try the new card alone just to make sure it is ok.

Tried all 4 bud. At a loss as to what the problem could be. Surely if there was a problem with the new card, it would still POST but with my primary 4870x2? Power should be fine, there is plenty of headroom.

try new card alone in both pci-e slots and work your way out from there. And I wasn't concerned if you had enough power, just that you had it plugged in. I once forgot to plug one of my cards up, it happens. Just checking all basis.

Yeah, I've tried both PCI slots, both work with the 4870x2. Also, I've reseated both cards and power cables. Cheers for the thoughts though.

CMOS,, clear your bios
Dont you need a bigger PSU for Crossfire those 4870??? Your PSU: To add a bit of insult to injury, there are only two PCI-E 6-pin connectors and not a single 8-pin PCI-E connector in sight. This is an 800W power supply and in this day and age people use these high wattage power supplies to power dual 8800GTX cards or something very close to that. Without using the Molex to 6-pin connectors included with the cards, there is no way to power dual 8800GTX or HD2900XT cards with the BFG 800W power supply.
