ATI HD 4770 Owners Club/Thread

it doesnt really matter about its tech specs, its whether its reliable or not, I was running an x-power (crappy brand) 500W PSU with the same kinda amperage and didnt know why randomly my PC would lock up, it was due to the PSU's voltage on the 24 pin connector just dipping for a millisecond causing the CPU to freak out, replaced it, and hasn't locked uposince! if you have any way of testing your PSU I would do that.

So i buy a new one, maybe a Corsair.

I would test it first, no point shelling out $90 for a PSU if your current one is fine, but if your saying the drivers are fine and BIOS is stock, apart from the GPU itself being faulty the PSU would be nxt thing I looked at.
also, Corsairs are a bit pricey, and OCZ like mine would be fine for a rig like yours, realistically you only need 400W (if that!) so a 600 gives you nice headroom

But i think that is PSU fault because if OC more my cpu it turn itself off!

definately sounds like voltage problems on your PSU, go for an upgrade

Ive got the XFX and the standard ATI drivers allow me to clock upto 875/1000 so I have stuck with them, no need for the XFX drivers!!
Dont attempt the ASUS TOP BIOS flash mod, its pretty hard to not feck it up, and if you do, you void your waranty
