I am shocked, as we have the same case, the same CPU cooling (mines are S-Flex 64 CFM), and the same card...So, would you ever believe me, if I told you that, after almost 15 hours of trying, I managed to overclock my Gigabyte 4770 up to the unbelievable 1022 MHz core, 1275 memory, and pass all of the Futuremark 3Mark Vantage tests? With my first few posts, I broke the f**KING world record, on air cooling... (Too much of the "Bloodsport" movie, *****) It looks I am the champion of the thread, and, with your polite help, you have just crowned me

Well, it seems like they just intend to make you NOT to go crossfire, excluding the bridge stuff in the retail package.Street Fighter 4 show some artefacts and freezes, but on 1022/1275 I am able to run multiple passes with 3DMARK VANTAGe....That is strange...Anyone wants some proof of this rare overclock (RivaTuner show 1275 as the maximum memory MHZ setting)?

You can up the max settings in rivatuner. Dont remember how but you can change the max and min settings inside the program so essentially you can set the card to whatever you want. I dont want proof but if a gfx card overclock is not stable in games/furmark then the overclock is deemed not stable. That is a heavy OC though. Whats the temps?

Around 70C idle, Futuremark Vantage load rises to the horrific 108C, this is with Auto fan control in Asus Smart Doctor @ 1.3 V.I`ll edit my post later, and when I get back home from work, I will post my validationd, also my screenshot @ 1280 x 1024.I am glad I did not by any aftermarket cooling, as the stock one was a real survivor. The 100 % fan speed is audible, but acceptable, if one watches movie or plays fairly loud music. The fan speed setting shall be called "survival mode"

i think the problem with overclocking in xfire is that you are limiited by the slower card. overclock each card seperately. i bet one card cant go much farther past 935/1150, which is still a good OC by the way.
