I personally think the Zalmans are overpriced junk. I'm waiting for the Accelero L2 Pro. Unfortunately it's not alot more than whats on these cards but it has all the other heatsinks, its quieter and its AC. I happen to like AC.

However some cards (Inno3D? Gecube?) Have this on them already and it works pretty well.

I figure it fits, its crazy cheap and like all other AC sinks what people don't nkow is the base can be adjusted so it aligns with the card properly.

please make a 1gb version with massive bios limits so i can sell my 4850 to buy one and put a zalman vf1000 on it.

well sapphire use them for their toxic, and the vf1000's or whatever they're called are used by the powercolor pcs...

+1. but it's so hard to find asus gpus in my area so i hope sapphire and powercolor make one

The VF1000 is a good cooler however I cannot justify the price tag. Also the VF wont fit the 770, it will collide with the back of your case. The 770's chip is farther back on the card then previous cards.

If they're compatible with the x1650 or the x1600's they SHOULD work as the holes on the 4770s are the same distance as those.

The round style coolers will work yes. I matched up scale images of the card and a bunch of coolers (HR-03s, Acceleros, Battle-Axe, Vf1000 and Musashi) and basically they are all around 3/8 to half inch to long off the back of the card (Side with connectors).

I wouldn't say don't be willing to try though if RMA'ing isn't a hassle. I really wanted an Accelero Twin on mine but after researching this Accelero L2 thats coming out I think I may like it better as it doesn't take up a third slot and it seems to work well for what it is, having no heat pipes and being small.
