Default Question

Is there an ATI card for less then $250 that will beat a 9800GTX+ enough to justify it?

A 4890 can be had for well less than $250 and will pummel a 9800GTX+ . Here for $220 shipped.

4890 or 4850 X2

The 4850 X2 2gb is a little high right now, should be back down to $259 in a week or so.

hehe yeah ink I have been AMD for the longest time...then they bought ATI and I've always been Nvidia but with ATI pushing ahead in the GPU market and with my 9800GTX+ being disappointing I'll buy ATI from now on. This one will be my 3rd ATI card. Which brand should I go with of the 4890? Sapphire?

Most seem to like sapphire. Especially the vaopor-x editions... If you don't go with Sapphire... XFX makes 4890s as well and have double lifetime warranties.
