My 4870 is spinning at 1500RPM..I've heard that it can go to 9200 RPM. It's generating 51C atm and probably a good reason as to why some other components in my case are hot! How do I increase fanspeed for my card and what's a good program to OC my graphics card?

Thanks everyone. I was looking at Rivatuner, but in my quick search thought it was an Nvidia only thing.

Not at all. Rivatuner has worked beautifully with my X1600 and HD 4830.

Open up CCC click on Ati Overdrive. Enable overdrive if you haven't already then you can set fan speed manually.

Thanks alot. RivaTuner was a bit complicated for me..but the CCC ATI Overdrive was simple. Thanks for the help. (btw, not quite 9200 RPM, but 2840 is alot better than 1500!! Funny how my CPU temps dropped as well.
