I voted 4890. But if you board cant crossfire get the 4850X2.

why will fewer be coded for multi gpu? isnt technology moving forward? a 4850 x2 can be overclocked too.. it takes the max oc of a 489 to beat a 4850 x2 at stock

I think he's incorrectly referring to problems with driver support and just mixed himself up. THe 4850 x2 initially had many problems with driver support but Sapphire has done a great job maintaining them so I really don't forsee any problems wiht using it.

Also, it's officially supported in all the latest drivers now IIRC.

I voted 4890 just because i got personal beef with 4850x2. Less games support crossfire um more heat, no go if you have to mod your tower. The 4890 is just a better card in my opinion. Take it with 2 cents tho
