get the Toxic version from Sapphire though. They look way sick and there like 250 bucks so.

it has a core volt of 1.4v out of the factory, which make reaching 1ghz cake walk. and that cooler, although doesnt actually drop much of the temperature (core temp 76 fully loaded). its almost silent.

as you got the XFX, can look to getting the Scythe Musashi cooler to help keep the sucker cool and quieter to achieve that 1ghz OC.
__________________I had one on my Diamond HD4890, lot better than the stock reference cooler, i'd say gives the Sapphire Toxic cooler a run for its money. obligatory pics =D ![]()

Scythe Musashi here, but on a XFX 4870 XXX. Make sure you mod the pins so it doesn't wobble. It shouldn't be an issue, but it's quite disconcerting.
Also, look into extra VRM cooling as the stock heatsinks do nowt for them!
