Scores?

Crossfire does not work windowed, you must run full screen.

Quote:
I'm running "call of Juarez" in windowed mode and using GPU-Z and I have two of them opened one for the main GPU and the other one for the slave GPU, the first GPU's activity kicks into about 99% and the second GPU's activity is 0%

Monitor the activity in the background, use Rivatuner or GPU-Z in the background not windowed.

Stock Q6600, oc that proc.

HDR/SM3.0 SCORE: 6897
CPU SCORE: 3465

I ran GPU-Z on the background and played Call of Juarez in full windowed mode in DX10 ,but still no activity on the second core.....

Your 2006 scores seems fine for stock Q6600 and run Call of Juarez in full screen. A lot of times when you run a bench or test in "windowed mode", it won't engage the other gpus in a multi-gpu configurations. Try it out, let us know how it goes.

Thumbs down same problem....

i swear, i am just about to sell my hd4870x2. Buy a one gpu solution, seeing as thats pretty much wot i have now...

my system:
OS - vista 64 ultimate
Processor - Q6600
RAM - ocz platinum pc3 12800 (1600mhz)
PSU - corsair hx1000W
MoBo - asus p5k3 deluxe motherboard

i can't get dx9 or dx10 to work. could only use upto catalyst 8.11 with vista 32bit, but atleast both gpu worked.
on one occasion i got both gpu to work with vista 64(both dx9 and 10) but didn't work on restart and then thought it was setup as 2 seperate cards in crossfire (had the crossfire menu in ccc)
back to normal on next restart tho.

I am also having a problem where the card tries to assign the gpu to 3 different monitors. i only have one connected, yet it displays :
1. my LG monitor - active
2. PnP monitor - disabled, but can be linked
3. default monitor - sometimes active as extended desktop, have to disable.

I cannot get rid of monitor 2 and 3, only disable them.

Anyone got a simple step solution? anyone have the same problem and solved it?

Smile 4870x2 might running single core only, please help

i've installed catalyst 9.6 for my sapphire 4870x2 with Vista ultimate 64bit.
everything is fine except i need to use Riva Tuner to adjust my fan speed when game play in order to lower the temp. My problem is that i don't know whether i'm running both core or not. I've upload gpu-z screen, how do i determine whether it's running on both core? I read some review, most 4870x2 user's gpuz shows that they have ATI Cross Fire enable, but not mine. I plan to get 1000w psu, but i do read from some review, even 1100w corsair has the same problem as mine. Please advice.....i don't know whether to get a new psu as i'm only running single 4870x2

my gpuz
CF enable1
cf enable 2
