Default The 4850x2 Cheap-O Mod xD (56k WARNING)(Pics resized for quality)
well this all started when i bought this card and i was so happy to finally own an up to date piece of hardware and after a while i got annoyed with the fans blasting even at 12%. So i decided to find an aftermarket cooler and found non that i liked or they were too expansive for me so then i did some searching on google and found a pic of what looked like a 4850x2 with 2 80mm case fans on it and thought id give it a shot and im surprised it ACTUALLY WORKS!!!

Pics arent the greatest quality, but that's a pretty win mod. doesn't even look all that ghetto.

If you're willing to spend some money you can get 2 Zalman VF900s and mount them aswell.

the whole point of this mod is to save that 80 bucks for say rent? lol

i totally agree thats why i went ahead with it and the best thing about it is i can reverse the process and back to stock if i wanted to rma it or something

EDIT: i forgot to mention it took me about 4-5 hours to complete this mod because i didnt really have the proper tools and i didn't want to snap this card in 2
