eh my current monitor is a 21.5" LG the model before they went 1080p... nice looking for 1680x1050 though

O well in that case go with the GTS250. IT's a good card and for your resolution should be just fine.

I found a review of that 2GB card, and well it didn't do as well as I had hoped. The extra 1GB didn't do very much to increase performance. It only did marginally better than the 1GB models. Even at really high resolutions.
kind of a disappointment really.

Take the GTS250, especially with the two free games
HD4890 won't worth it you will upgrade to a DX11 card soon
