one word, musashi!
but you will need to buy some sticky heatsinks to cool the ram and vrm.

I have not used an aftermarket cooler yet, so I can't tell you from first hand experience. However, I've been doing some research and I found this.
http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalo...ath=2_&mID=101 It looks to be a decent cooler, and it works for the XFX 4890. Once again, this is what I've heard, I have not used it myself.

I'm using the Thermalright T-Rad2 GTX and the VRM-R2. They're a little on the thick side with a pair of 92x25mm fans, but if you get a Scythe 2000rpm Slip Stream Slim SY1212SL12H 120x12mm for the T-Rad2 (GTX), you should have no clearance issues. I do highly recommend getting the VRM-R1/R2 as I have shown on a previous thread, I got a 28C drop under load and a 12C drop at idle with an ambient of 26C.
EDIT: I have a better idea, if you plan on using the Scythe VGA cooler, forget the plate and use the thermalright VRM-R1 & -R2, they'll drop your load VRM temps nearly 30C when used with a decent 80x25mm fan.

What's your ambient temperature? Your "to hot" cpu may not be the fault of your heatsink. Quotes are great, taken in context and not distorted.![]() I'm convinced, check out 80-Way TIM Performance Review and see why ![]() The Barracuda & ASUS EAH4890 v1.0 Validated
