Cool Don't you just wish everything was compatable with... anything?!

So I've got an ATI Radeon x600 on a PCI-e x16 slot and I asked my friend if I could buy his ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro. He sold it to me for 100 bucks (What a steal, am I right?). Problem is, I'm a little slow. I forgot to ask him if it was PCI-e. If anyone was wondering, it's not. The ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro is only PCI. Is there a converter out there that will convert the PCI (on the ATI Radeon) to PCI-e x16 (on the MoBo). If so, It would be nice if you could add a link instead of just replying " Uh, I think so " or " Ya, I've got one ".

Thnx so much.

Your motherboard doesn't have any PCI slots? Honestly with a 2400 Pro you really aren't gaining anything from switching to PCIe x16.

Also, unless you absolutely need DX10 and SM4.0/3.0 you would probably be better off with the x600, the 2400 Pro is the slowest modern card you can buy.

100 bucks?

Add 30-40$ and get yourself a gtx 260 c216 instead?

Isnt 100$ for a HD2400 a little overpriced?

Honestly I've never heard about someone using a pci to pcie converter...

Extremely overpriced. New they are about $40 so I used one would fetch even less than that...

Dude, get your money back.

Find an 8600GTS or something for 30 bucks or so. And kick your "friend" for ripping you off.

I have a 2400 HD Pro PCI-e x16.

It wasn't just PCI.

If this isn't a troll I'll eat my wallet.

Edit: I mean, c'mon you can get a card 20x as powerful for $100. If you couldn't have googled the actual value of a 2400 (or what you can get for $100 for that matter) then, no, there is no PCIe to PCI adapter.
