The 5870 doesn't look all that strong at all imo. The clocks are kinda low, the number of stream processors and shaders are not much higher than a 4890. Not worth 400 bucks imo.

Hmm? Are you looking at the same specs the rest of us are? The 5870 is pretty much a 4890 X2.

I doubt it'll be as strong as two 4890s. Maybe a 4890x1.5. We'll see though when the reviews start coming.
