Default Antec 300 & a 5800 series?

Im not going to be buying one for a while, but i am curious as to if my current case will fit it.

I tried to measure it and it seems just shy of 11 inches of room. Can anybody confirm a 5800 fitting or not fitting?

Non-reference cards will be shorter for sure. In a couple of months the size will not be an issue.

It might fit if you're lucky...if not, you could always cut into the drive bays a bit.

I find it funny that my $50 case can fit 12"+ video cards just because of the way the hdd bay is

By "Non-referance" are you talking about the 5830 or 5770 cards??

I want at least a 5850.

He means non-reference coolers.

You'll notice that all the 5870s out right now look mostly the same. That's because they're using the reference cooler, and in a few months companies will be coming out with their own (probably better) coolers.

Non-reference means custom PCB layouts and lengths made and designed by other manufacturers.

When I had a 9800GX2 it would fit just fine sticking into the drive bay, no need to cut or anything.
