I was wondering if my graphics card would be able to handle L4D/L4D2 at 1920 x 1080. I was originally wondering about 1366 x 768, but my plans have changed.

Yeah should do just fine....might have to watch the AA since this can be one of the most stressful source titles with all of the hordes coming at you...

Now left 4 dead 2 might be a different story noone is sure on what the performance will be like. I bet it WILL be more stressful than L4D, but only 10% give or take.
