Default Overclocking the 5770?

I'd like to take a step into overclocking this baby, what programs should I use? and what clock times/memory should I try, without having to mess with the voltages? Any other info will be appreciated thank yoU!

5770 is a graphics card. You don't need ANY of those programs you listed to overclock a video card. Please don't post if you don't know what you're talking about as all that isn't helpful by any means.

I prefer to use RivaTuner for clocking my card as CCC is limited. You usually want to work on the Core and Memory by increasing them by 5mhz and testing each time within a game or by running ATITool. If you can find someone elses results for their overclock, you can work off of their results and find your sweet spot.

Like said above, try out the clocks he mentioned, and test in ATITool for about fifteen minutes using the "Scan for Artifacts" button. If you see yellow dots or get errors, then back off the memory and core by about 10mhz and try again. If you don't see any, then you can test in game for a bit to make sure it's stable, and then you can increase the Core and Memory until you find errors, and then back off by about 10mhz or so.

ahh didn't catch that thanks, should you manually set it or rely on the automated fan speeds?

I always use manual so that it's always running at the speed that I want. I have mine set to 40% and my 4870 never goes above 60C in my Antec 300.

Some people like to use automatic so that it speeds up when needed and slows down when needed. I just prefer mine to stay cool at all times.
