I've only been using this card for a couple of months. It's factory overclocked to 925/1050 and it just doesn't seem stable at all. Almost every game I've played (COD 4, Crysis, Borderlands, RE5) except for L4D & TF2 causes my system to hang & completely freeze forcing me to hard boot my system - even when I crank the fan up to 80-100%. On some random occasions I can play for a few hours without crashes but it happens more so than not. It must have happened at least 30 times now. When I downclock to the original 4890 speeds of 850/975 the issues seem resolved, but the point is that I paid for a factory overclocked card so I should be able to use it at least at it's factory settings. Bull****!
![]() Anyone with this card or other 4890's had similar issues?

Try different drivers and maybe even go try the XtremeG drivers from tweakforce... Tell us if it helps any.

I downloaded the msi overclocking tool last week and up the voltage to the max which is only a little above factory overclock and card appears more stable for longer periods of time.

Hmm... Very strange, I haven't nor have heard about this problem until now. I have both my Diamond 4890 XOC's running at 935/1125 and no problem(s) at all, not even Crysis or Furmark. Try downloading Catalyst 9.10 and update to the newest drivers.
__________________edit: I see you've tried multiple versions already. Download GPUz and check what voltages your card is running at, I know mines is running at 1.312V. And increase it.
