Default ATI X1950 XTX Crossfire?

I tried doing some general search through google, and ATI's abysmal website under AMD's page, but came across not much info.

Would I need a "Crossfire Edition" X1950 XTX card to run Crossfire with my current X1950 XTX? Or will any two X1950 XTX work together in Crossfire mode?

You would need a crossfire edition, because the non-CF edition lacks the bridge

edit: I may be wrong. If someone else could confirm or deny that you can CF without the bridge, since most of the data is sent through the PCIe bridge?

Exactly. The crossfire card has a special connector where a dvi would be. This you need for the crossfire cable.

Unless you can get your hands on a 1950 dirt cheap, I would stay away from crossfire with these. A single 4850 or even 4830 would SMASH a 1950XTX crossfire setup. And you can get a used 4830 for about $65-75 right now here at the site.
