As I don't want to buy a new mobo, but want to use physx, I have a question. I found a 4350 512mb in a PCi x1 config, and was wondering if the 4350 is powerful enough to use physx on it. And, can you use ATI+Nvidia for physx?

At the moment you can't use ATI for Physx. A 9600GSO would be better for that purpose.

There is a mod to use an ATI and another Nvidia card together. ATI does the scaling and Nvidia runs Physx. You can only do it if your board has two PCIe connections and running XP or Windows 7. Vista doesn't work with the mod.
There are two different threads about how to do it. Here is one link http://www.overclock.net/ati/591844-...dia-physx.html

No ATI card can use PhysX.
PhysX is a proprietary API owned by Nvidia.

I know ATI doesn't run Physx. I also know it's proprietary to Nvidia... but this question seemed like he wanted to know if he could run both. He already has a Nvidia card. If he bought an ATI card he could use both if he was running XP or Windows 7 OS's only (Vista doesn't work). As soon as I get my vapor-x back from RMA, I will be running both again. It can be done.
